1. As the artist of this piece, what was your main objective?
As the artist of this piece, my main objective was to take an image of an animal, in this case, I used a bulldog, and make it into a 3- dimensional image.
2. What tools did you primarily use for this project?
For this project, I primarily used the pen tool to outline the shapes of the bulldog, which were the tongue. the head, the left arm, the right arm, and the back. Additionally, for this project, I primarily used the Levels Styles Box, to get the red and the cyan to make the image 3- dimensional, for the the tongue, the head, the left arm, the right arm, and the back.
3. What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?
One challenge that I faced during this project is trying to get the pen tool to outline the image, perfectly. Another challenge that I faced during this project is trying to make the image look 3 dimensional.
4.The goal of this assignment was to create three perspective views: Foreground, Mid-ground, and Background. How did you create this illusion? What exactly did you choose to make 3D?
I created the Foreground perspective view by spacing out the red and the cyan, the most amount on the tongue. I created the Mid-ground perspective view by spacing out the red and the cyan, the middle amount on the face. I created the Background perspective view by spacing out the red and the cyan, the least amount on the left arm, the right arm, and the back. I chose to make the nose the most amount 3- dimensional. I chose to make the face the middle amount 3- dimensional. I chose to make the left arm, right arm, and the back the least amount 3- dimensional.
