1. As the artist of this piece, what was your main objective?
As the artist of this piece, my main objective was to fill a portrait of a celebrity with mini triangles across the whole portrait, still making it easy to tell who the celebrity is.
2. What tools did we primarily use for this project?
For this project, we mainly used the polygonal lasso tool to make the triangle and Photoshop Actions to fill the triangle in with a specific color.
3. What are the advantages of using Photoshop Actions?
Using Photoshop Actions, you are able to keep repeating the same process over and over with the filling of the triangles, so you don't have to do it a more complicated way.
4. How were you able to create more detail in the facial features?
To create more details in the facial features, I used smaller triangles.
5. What were some of the challenges you faced during this project?
A challenge that I faced during this project is making my triangles too big or too small. If they are too big or too small, they don't look good. Another challenge that I faced is putting my triangles each onto a separate layer. When I needed to find a specific layer, it was challenging because there were hundreds of different layers.
6. Do you feel you successfully completed the project? Why or why not?
I feel successfully complete with my project because it looks like the celebrity I did, Lucy Hale and I can clearly see the triangles, which is a must.
